At Midwest FurFest 2004 there was a fire alarm that interrupted things.

At Midwest FurFest 2005 there was a fire alarm that interrupted things.

At Midwest FurFest 2006 there was not a fire alarm mucking things up. Good riddance to that nuisance, too.

But it seems not to be gone. It just moved to Capricon as a result of a bagel fire.

Arrangements have now been made for sharing a room at MFF, so that's one less thing to worry about.

Someone at work remembered that I've been there for ten years. The upshot is that I got a check I had not been expecting. That will help with MFF.

And yesterday and today I saw readings below 160 on the scale.

A while back I made my hotel reservation for MFF. At the time there was a possibility, though not a certainty, of jmaynard also attending MFF so I had to turn someone down when the subject of splitting a room and room expense was brought up. Somewhere on LiveJournal recently I saw a comment that the Midwest FurFest hotel block was filling rather quickly and made a note to myself to reserve a room before that became a problem.
